Potter

I involved myself in the everyday life of this craftman, living and working in his workshop. I discovered the different steps of pottery. I was initiated into turning and other potter’s wheel techniques, and enamelling.

LN Boul (Hélène Boularan) -

As an intern, I designed and assisted the monitoring of a promotional cardboard item project. Especially, I had the opportunity to attend the meetings with the client. I also visited ECP Cartonnage, a packaging society in charge of the production.

Atelier Chatersèn -
Ecological layout and furniture

During this internship I had the chance to make a prototype of a chestnut seat project. My teamwork and I collaborated with the to craftsmen. We tested several bending masters, and made two seat prototypes in chestnut strips, plus one attemp in sticks.

Gauthier & Co. -
Designer - cabinetmaker

This was my first confrontation between designing and making. I drew some sketches and made 3D modeling of a desk project rethinking  the trestle system. Gauthier guided me gradually by explaining me the technical constraints of material, tools and assembly techniques.

I am learning the guitar in my spare time and practicing sport in my very spare time.

My nomadic dream :
to combine work, passion and lifestyle travelling the world in a British bus (red of course!).

My sedentary dream :
restore an old stone house nearby a river and live there independently with a  garden, chickens, goats and beehives.

I like

True human values, simplicity, nature, culture, a glass of good red wine.

I like working seriously as well as humorously, knowing how things are made, observing and listenning to a pasionate craftman, watching videos about industrial processes. I also like hicking in the montain, travelling and staying with a local.
